18.00-18.15 Welcome speeches by the Rectorate and the Scientific Leader of the event

18.15-18.45 Keynote Lecture: “Crystallography and its contribution to new drug development|,

               Organized by the Hellenic Crystallographic Association as part of its 3rd annual conference, 22 – 24 September 2006.

18.45-19.15 Poster exhibition on Protein Crystallography.

Researchers will demonstrate examples of research in protein crystallography and its impact in the design of effective drugs.

19.15-20.15 Research Innovations at the Construction of the Rio-Antirio Bridge

Lecture and short presentation of leading-edge technologies used at various phases of the construction of the bridge. Researchers will guide        the participants through an exhibition of scale models of the various construction phases as well as through a photograph’s exhibition.
