Mission
The Greek EURAXESS Services Center of the University of Patras
is part of the Greek EURAXESS Services Centres Networkand also part of the Euraxess Services Network( The European Network for Researchers).
It aims at:
- providing customized assistance, information, and
support to incoming researchers and their families who work
(or plan to work) in Patras and the broader region of
Western Greece on several issues regarding taxation,
insurance policies, visa procedures, social security, health
services, education, language courses, accommodation, etc,
so as to minimize the
mobility obstacles
- informing incoming and outgoing researchers on existing
job opportunities
in Greece as well as across Europe
- assisting outgoing researchers to find information for
the country of their employment
